About the Item
Elegant chandelier from the 1940s, crafted by Böhlmarks in Sweden. Executed in warm elm wood and patinated brass, this piece exemplifies the Swedish Modern style with its soft curves, refined proportions, and natural materials. The sculptural brass arms are richly detailed with scalloped accents and radiate from a turned elmwood column with a graceful finial.
Fitted with newly sewn, hand-pleated shades in vintage silk fabric that closely matches the original, the chandelier offers a warm and diffused light. A timeless lighting fixture that adds sophistication to dining rooms, entryways, or living spaces.
Condition: Very good condition with patina on the brass parts
Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US.

This striking four arm chandelier was designed by Harald Notini and produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Sweden, circa 1927. This particular model numbered 6316 is a great example of the unique Swedish Grace style of this period.
The striking design consists of four marbled glass shades with a slightly undulating, scalloped rim. The shades are attached to brass holders with a serrated shape, connected to the centre by brass arms in a beautiful curved shape. The sphere shaped centre of the fixture with serrated decorative details throughout, with a separate hanging sphere attached to the lowest part of the lamp. This hanging sphere can be easily removed if desired.
The fixture is entirely executed in nickel plated brass which has developed a beautiful and natural patina over time.
