Enameled Chandeliers and Pendants

Chandelier Italian production of 1950s with eight Opaline parts and iron and brass structure. Stilnovo was founded in Milan by Bruno Gatta, whose father, Dino, had previously worked alongside Camillo Olivetti - with whom he graduated in Turin - on the creation of CGS in Ivrea. The deed of foundation of the company dates back to June 1946. The original headquarters is at 18 Via Borgonuovo Stilnovo reached the peak of its success in the late 1950s and 1960s. Stilnovo collaborated with Melchiorre Bega on two occasions: in 1960 to furnish, with ceiling chandeliers designed in the early 1950s by Gaetano Scolari, the boardroom of the Sarom company in the new skyscraper later known as Torre Galfe and again in the same year to illuminate the new conference and projection room at the Milan Trade Fair.
