About the Item

One of a kind light fixture with a stunning “ flameboyant “ alabaster shade disc. Thanks to its timeless design, its good size and its mint condition this alabaster chandelier will light up both your days and evenings, both in summer and winter time. The black veins combined with other color veins in this marble-like mineral stone pendant contrast even more beautiful when the light is switched on, because the already marvelous alabaster then turns into an even warmer spectacle of colors. We could shoot a hundred photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade and matching rope chain. The original rope chain is no longer mint, but she still perfectly complements this striking and serene pendant light. The unique patterns inside this hand carved shade are the work of mother nature herself and the light brings them out in their true glory. In real life our antiques always have that little bit extra and this stunning pendant is no exception. The rope and the equally timeless alabaster canopy are like the icing on the cake of this incredibly rich-colored ceiling lamp. To find it in this excellent condition made our day, and we are proud to be able to offer it to our 1stdibs clientele first. For the photos of this light chandelier we used a 100 watt bulb. This fixture however, will also take 150 watts and if you use a dimmer switch then you can always create the perfect atmosphere for every occasion.
