Practical size and timeless, hand carved, antique alabaster pendant light. Thanks to its 'calm' and timeless Art Deco design this alabaster chandelier will look great in all kinds of interiors. It is in very good condition from top to bottom and the beautifully spread, thunderstroke-like black veins contrast even more when the light is switched on. Also, because the dark veins then turn pitch black against an even whiter background and that contrast truly is amazing to look at. As you can see in our images, there also are a number of white, near translucent veins and patches that make this creation-of-mother-nature-pendant even more fascinating. The perfectly balanced shade is so structurally strong that it actually rings like a bell when you strike it. Have you also noticed the stylish and mint condition, blackened brass canopy? It is adjustable in height and thanks to the hook inside, safely mounting this chandelier tight to your ceiling can be done in just a few minutes. Replacements made: The perfectly matching, blackened metal chain and blackened brass canopy are replacements. Rewired: This striking light is professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage the world over. Repaired: A hairline on the inside of this beautiful shade has been professionally reinforced and now it again sounds like a bell when you strike it. One small chip to the rem was restored, but even if you know where it is, you will hardly be able to see it. Wear consistent with age and use.
