Thanks to its extra large size and great condition this alabaster chandelier is one of the best alabaster chandeliers that we have ever seen or sold. This antique and entirely hand-carved alabaster chandelier will light up your days and evenings in a way that no modern fixture ever could. Anyone who has ever seen one in real life knows exactly what we are talking about. For this stunning, four light specimen they clearly used the perfect alabaster rock, because this unique shade comes with numerous and evenly divided black veins. That combined with the whiter veins and patches that have formed in this mineral stone over a period of thousands of years makes it truly special. The original rope hanging to this monumental chandelier was 'shot' and we replaced it with bronzed chain that perfectly complements the entire look and feel of this majestic pendant. Combined with the large, original and height adjustable alabaster canopy this rare light can be used and enjoyed in all kinds of interiors and in all kinds of living spaces. For it to still be in this very good condition after more than 100 years is like an ode to the craftsmanship of early 1900 artisans in Europe.
