About the Item
Sometimes hunting the flea markets we find some amazing things. This time it was a 1906 Lion water heater. The finish is a beautiful warm gray baked-on porcelain over cast iron. With an early prismatic Holophane glass dome and a darkened 18 inch diameter shade added we end up with this one of a kind lantern. The original designs on the lamp body include a lions head and decorative arts and crafts decorative detail. The lamp is 36 inches tall plus an additional drop that can be chain or pipe.
