This Carl Fagerlund Acanthus Orrefors chandelier comes in many shapes and sizes. It was also made as a floor lamp.
This is a beautiful model with 8 glass leaves and beautiful gold-coloured details.
The lamp is named after the Acanthus plant with bold flowers and spiky decorative leaves, native to Mediterranean regions. The Acanthus mollis is also better known as hogweed.
Born on November 25, 1915 in Kalmar, Sweden, Carl Fagerlund was a light and glass designer. He was educated in Stockholm, where he qualified as a design teacher.
