Vintage Swiss Space Age Pendant Lamp from Temde, 1970s
About the Item
Large plastic train pendant lamp in a striking yellow hue from the renowned manufacturer temde.
In addition to the yellow hue, the imposing size of this lamp in particular catches the eye. The shapes and edges are softly rounded and reminiscent of floral shapes. The shade is made of thick plastic. The shade is divided by a slit in the middle, which structures the large shade and through which indirect light escapes. A special detail lies inside. The socket part is spherical in shape and is equipped with 4 sockets. In the center is integrated a handle for the pull pendant function. the lamp has received a if design award in 1974.
