The Y30 concept was born during a winter vacation at the seaside in Costa Brava, Spain.
Y30 is a ceiling-to-floor lamp with diffused light.
The diffuser moves vertically by sliding the twisted electric cable into the curved tube. It remains static thanks to the three-round counterweights.
Fixtures are made by our artisan in Spain and you can find them in satin brass, nickel-plated brass, or semi-matt black brass. Our craftsman glass blower in Italy blows the frosted stripped glass diffuser.
Clara Viladecans is a Spanish lighting designer based in Milan. Through the studio, she wants to promote a more humanistic design world in which craft heritage, technology, and social approaches complement each other.
Viladecans lamps are created to play with shapes and materials without sacrificing quality and usability. It combines her Spanish heritage with a contemporary feminine spirit, translating her inspirations into a timeless and Mediterranean design, represented in local materials such as blown glass and hand-curved brass, consciously handcrafted one by one.
Our Italian and Spanish factories have been chosen to guarantee sustainable production with high-quality workmanship.
Clara’s goal is to continue creating, designing, and crafting beautiful and sustainable products, made in Europe.
