BIO:
Francisco Jordán is a Chilean designer born in Santiago de Chile in 1983 and based in Madrid. He is the creator of Fun Furniture For Friends, a line of furniture that is distinguished by its simplicity, functionality and a playful and fun touch.
Francisco studied civil engineering for four years before abandoning his studies to found a company dedicated to the design and construction of urban bicycle equipment. At the same time, he began publishing comics and fanzines, and eventually, his interests merged, leading him to create some of his metal drawings.
The Fun Furniture For Friends (FFFF) collection consists of 40 pieces designed and handcrafted by Francisco. This collection includes chairs, armchairs, animal figures, lamps and tables among others, all made using the process that he masters: bending, welding and painting metal tubes. Francisco describes his work as “drawing with metal,” creating what he calls “shape files.”
