1890 Parabolic Mirror Floor Lamp
About the Item
This is a extremely rare and early 19th century experimental device. This example is set up as a simple large reflective and dramatic floor lamp. Originally it was used for research of physical experiences that would focus light, heat and sound. The stand tilts the reflector and telescopes 12 inches taller. It has a unique and amazing look. The finish and Mahogany tripod stand is all original.
