1800s X-Ray Stand Floor Lamp
About the Item
This is a very interesting floor lamp. The articulated stand and arm are all wood including all the adjustment fittings. The three legs are cast iron. In the mid-late 1800s these stands were used to hold the first X-Ray tubes used by doctors. The stand is an important part of early medical history. We hung an early milk glass shade and loop from arm. The combination works perfectly and creates something unique.
