1950 Large Rope Lamp by Audoux and Minet
About the Item
The base of the lamp is made of twisted rope and is nicely rolled up to form the base, then it goes up and becomes the light arm, all made with a single piece of rope.
The arm of light is dressed on the upper part of lampshade redone identically of off-white cotton.
One bulb per lamp.
Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet are known for their rope lamps and furniture. Their first workshop was founded in 1929 in Juan-les-Pins, near Nice, Côte d'Azur, France.
