Ugo La Pietra (né en 1938). Lampadaire Arcangelo Metropolitano Métal et méthacrylate peint Signé ‘Ugo La Pietra’ sur la base Lumen Center Prod. Date de création : 1977 Measures: H 220 × L 125 × Ø (base) 50 cm. ART SOCIAL, 1976-79 Ugo La Pietra, dans ses interventions directes en milieu urbain, photographia une série d'équipements urbains familiers qui rappellent chaque jour les contraintes, les obstacles, les séparations et la violence de la ville. Puis il les repensa en déformant leur destination : des structures de service de la ville aux structures de service de l'espace domestique. Suivant le principe "Vivre, c'est être chez soi partout", La Pietra a transformé les objets urbains en compléments pour la vie domestique, l'espace public en privé et vice versa, étendant l'idée de cellule de vie à toute la ville. Ses recherches "dans et pour la sphère sociale" de ces années, ainsi que les propositions d'autres opérateurs culturels, ont été documentées dans les revues qu'il a dirigées : IN, INPIU', Brera Flash, Fascicolo.
