1970s Caprani Timberline Teak Floor Lamp by Mads Caprani in Denmark
About the Item
This is an iconic Danish Timberline / Caprani floor lamp, designed by Mads Caprani in Denmark in the 1970s. The lamp's design features a sculptural curved bent-beech stand with teak veneer, and has a cast-iron demilune footed base. Most importantly, it retains its original pleated linen shade. It is stamped appropriately on its base.
This lamp is 23.63 inches long, 23.63 inches wide, and 60.24 inches tall. The original switch and wiring are in good working condition. The shade shows age, and the edges are a bit frayed. Otherwise the piece is in good condition. Please see photos.
