About the Item
This is a prototype floor lamp, custom designed by Michael Graves for the Disney Swan Hotel in 1990. The piece is formed of enameled-metal, brass, and lacquered wood. It is a special and highly unusual piece that epitomizes Graves' furniture design language of this era.
This lamp measures 60.5 inches tall and 22 inches in diameter. The lampshade measures 20 inches across. It is in very good to excellent vintage condition, with some light wear to the linen shade. There is some wear apparent on the edge of the round table top. Please see photos.
