About the Item

A beautiful & rare early English giltwood floor lamp. A wonderful & striking piece of lighting in the Regency taste, raised on three sweeping, square legs with ebonised detailing supporting a tapered & reeded upright flanked by three beautifully carved rams heads. An absolute work of art & by far & one of the nicest pieces of lighting I've been fortunate enough to own. Wired in twisted black flex. 19th century Wear commensurate with age, good overall & in full working order. Shade period & in fair condition, this came with the lamp & can be included free of charge if desired. One historic repair to one leg as per image, does not detract. All electrical items should be be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use, if purchased outside of the UK may require a rewire.
