Adjustable Iron Floor Lamp in the style of Jacques Adnet, 1950s France
About the Item
Incredible iron cantilever floor lamp in a deep green paint by French designer Jacques Adnet. Great sculptural lamp from all angles. The middle quarter of the lamp features a beautiful magazine rack in iron with saddle leather strap accents. A perfectly practical detail and design feature. Made in the 1950s. The lamp stands on an arc tripod base. Four iron hooks at the top of the stem. Adjacent arm with ovular ring can move up and down the four iron hooks, allowing for four different lamp heights. Ball joint just above the socket to direct the light. Rare find. Newly rewired with a new custom silk shade. Fantastic piece of collectible Jacques Adnet design.
