About the Item
An original vintage surveyor or photographer's tripod converted into a floor lamp. This important iconic piece of Swiss history makes a beautiful floor lamp and embodies all the classical elements of the era. Made by and stamped Kern Aarau, Switzerland.
This very stylish floor lamp would look wonderful in any setting with it's natural finish and cream colored shade. The frame is made of solid oak with steel hardware. The sabot feet are aluminum.
Recently rewired for use in the USA. New shade.
Weight approximately 7 kilograms.
Adjustable height, completely extended the lamp measures 74" High, lowest setting is approximately 48 1/2",
Shade measures 24" diameter x 9 1/2" high.
