About the Item
An original vintage surveyor or photographer's tripod converted into a floor lamp. This important iconic piece of Swiss history makes a beautiful floor lamp and embodies all the classical elements of the era. Made by and stamped Kern Aarau, Switzerland.
This very stylish floor lamp would look wonderful in any setting with it's natural finish and cream colored shade. The frame is made of solid oak with steel hardware. The sabot feet are aluminum.
Completely and recently rewired, plug currently for use in France easily adjustable for select destination. New shade. Perfect condition.
Weight approximately 7 kilograms.
Adjustable height, completely extended the lamp measures 74" High, lowest setting is 48 1/2".
