About the Item
Rare and unique, organic modern hand-carved floor lamp with multiple elephants designed by Frederic Cooper. All in solid wood, accentuated with small traces of gold leaf. The center brass is covered with gold leaf and in very good vintage condition with new cord wiring. Hand-crafted, hand-carved featuring elephants.
Stunning and unusual, due to its scale and design. This Maison Bagues style sculptural floor lamp by Frederic Cooper would enhance any modern, contemporary or rustic setting. The craftsmanship is impeccable and it stands 72" tall. Truly a rare find!
Bears the artist name, Cooper.
The sculpted floor lamp finial bears the name of the artist, Frederic Cooper who designed and sculpted this wooden floor lamp. Manufacturing of the lamp shade and finial attributed to Maison Baguès the famed French maker, whose work has been desired by discriminating collectors and decorators since the 1840's.
