About the Item
Very stylish, rare and beautifully handcrafted, midcentury floorlamp.
Over the years we have sold a number of rare floor lamps, but we had never found a vintage Maison Bagues attributed one. This fine specimen is not signed, but it is likely to be of this French designer's hand and to have found it in such great condition more than made our day. This lamp is perfect for bringing light to your Art Deco, your Midcentury or even to your contemporary interior. Its unique and hand-crafted-from-top-to-bottom design combined with its vintage patina makes this perfect working and excellent condition lamp an absolute joy to own and look at. The stunning brass shade spreads the light 'quietly' and evenly upward and this floor lamp therefor too makes a atmospheric light source in a living room, a private library or home office. When purchased by an American client we will also attach an American power plug so that this floor lamp too can be used and enjoyed upon arrival.
