A striking example of mid-century Italian design, this floor lamp from the AM/AS series by Franco Albini and Franca Helg for Sirrah (1969) exudes elegance and versatility. Its gracefully curved structure, crafted from chromed steel, supports a stunning hemispherical lampshade in glossy opaline glass, casting a warm and refined glow.
As with all lamps in this iconic series, the design features an innovative interchangeable lampshade, allowing attachment at both the upper and lower sections of the curved arm—enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
A true collector’s piece that embodies the timeless sophistication of Italian lighting design.
NOTE: The lamp is in good overall condition. The chrome part is in excellent state of preservation. However, there are scratches and normal signs of use on the base (as highlighted in the detailed photo provided).
The lamp will be shipped disassembled. There will be two packages: one for the metal structure and one for the glass lampshade. The lamp has an E27 socket.
