Bauhaus Chromed Floor Lamp by Robert Slezak, 1930s
About
Bauhaus floor lamp was designed by Robert Slezak in the 1930s for the company Slezaky Zavody, known for producing tubular furniture. It features a chrome-plated base, a walnut shelf, and the original glass shade. In 1908, Robert Slezak opened a locksmith workshop in Bystrice pod Hostýnem.
In 1928 the factory employs over a hundred workers.
In subsequent years, more production facilities are opened.
The lamp is now an exact copy of the pattern from the 1930s. Perfect condition. The top is made of walnut wood, the whole structure is chrome-plated, glass lampshade.
Retractable arm. The maximum height of the lama is 190 cm. Minimum 138 cm.
The lamp arm can be rotated around the base axis.
Diameter of the top: 31.5 cm.
Diameter of the base: 38 cm.
The height of the top: 67 cm.
The diameter of the lampshade: 22 cm.
Weight: 6 kg.
