The BOX-2 Standing Lamp
With the BOX-2 Josha pushed the sizes of his pieces to a next level! When he received the centre box (a tv box) he decided to scale up his work. This resulted in an impressive sculptural piece that draws all attention! The amount of gold used exceeds the previous pieces by a milestone.
Introduced in this piece is the hidden light source at the back. The lights will emit an indirect light casted from the huge surfaces of 24k gold leafs. The back light will cast a beautiful shade at the back of the piece and the wall behind it.
Added to the work is a custom made cubical 24k plated touch-switch, which controls the front and back lights. The whole piece reminds of a huge skyline in the golden-hours of the day.
