About the Item
These elegant floor lamps by Lang-Levin are simply extraordinary. A masterful combination of refined design and exceptional craftsmanship. Made of solid brass in a hexagonal stock, the three sections that form the central column splay into legs at the bottom. The three sections are separated by spacers that also form the wire chase in the center. No detail is overlooked, the finial is crafted of the same hexagonal stock and the original linen shades are handmade. These lamps truly must be seen in person to be appreciated.
Chicago's Lang-Levin studio was known for exceptionally made lamps and shades. We cannot find a comparable lamp with this design and believe that this signed pair may be unique, commissioned pieces.
