Cast Foam Grey Floor Lamp
About the Item
This lamp is made out of cast manufactured cast foam numbs, that are hand tacked to a metal frame. It is part of a new foam collection by Joseph Algieri that uses cast manufactured foam in the style of foam numb pieces from the artist. The piece is incredibly soft to the touch, and UV resistant. The bulbs used in the piece are 7w round bulbs, and has a steel base, as well as a silk grey cloth cord. The lamp has such a soft glow, and when illuminated, radiates the light on the soft matte texture of the lamp. This is a warm French Grey that is a nice neutral in a vibrant colored room. This piece can also be replicated in a the color of one's choice.

Joseph Algieri
Joseph Algieri is a ceramicist, lighting and home designer. Based in New York, his practice has spanned several different types of media, notably expandable foams and clay. Joseph’s work relies heavily on deconstructing and dissolving form, repetition, and expanding upon materials to their limit in a comedic fashion. His work has gained recognition from T Magazine to Architectural Digest, along with a growing audience of art lovers and designers combined.
