Cocoon floor lamp - attributable to Flos, 1960s'
About the Item
Floor lamp made of cocoon and metal presumably made by Flos in the 1960s, the time when the company was founded.
The lamp consists of three cocoon lampshades on white metal bases all mounted on an invisible metal frame.
It has two minor defects of the cocoon that do not detract from its beauty. These are two slight nicks in the material in two different places at the height of the metal structure.
Cocoon is a plastic polymer that is sprayed onto metal structures to create the classic texture we know and see.
