Cognac Leather and Parchment Floor 1960's Lamp
About the Item
Elegant 1960's floor lamp by Charlotte Wawer in cognac leather with large parchment leather shade creating a warm light. The hand made drum shade in parchment is bind with leather borders, part hand stitched with leather and connected by brass elements. The Leather covered foot is connected to brushed brass sleeves on the top and bottom over the leather covered stem.
The lamp designed by Charlotte Wawer 1960-70's. Her company, Wohnraumleuchten, produced lampshades and lamps, characterized by a rich use of leather and parchment with refined details in combination of metal. She designed a wide range of detailed designs over the decades. Charlotte, who designed all objects, run the small company with her husband.
The lamp holds the company label. The lamp holds two E27 light bulbs. Dimensions base; Height 151 cm, Diameter 32 cm. Dimensions lamp shade; Height 42 cm, Diameter 56 cm.
