Early 20th Century French Carved Barley Twist Floor Lamp with Attached Table
About the Item
This unique, antique floor lamp was crafted in Northern France, circa 1920. Standing on three bun feet over a circular base embellished with hand carved foliage decor, this lamp features a thick barley twist stem over acanthus leaves, a round ledge surface in the center, decorated with carved leaf motifs around the edges. The sturdy light fixture is dressed with a real wax candle, and has new wiring with double lights; it is further embellished with a convenient on and off foot switch. The tall free standing Louis XIII style floor lamp is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina. Place this elegant and practical fixture next to your favorite armchair, and use the attached table to rest your coffee or tea cup! Shade not included.
