The ‘Model #926’ floor lamp by Maison Arlus exemplifies the French atelier’s refined approach to lighting. Designed in 1955, it is expertly crafted from elegantly patinated brass. Its slender, triple-rod structure rises gracefully to meet a sculptural brass sphere, creating an airy yet architectural presence.
Grounded by a tripod base with softly curved legs, the design strikes a perfect balance between stability and delicacy. Topped with a woven burlap shade, the lamp casts a warm, inviting glow.
Documented in the 1955 edition of JOURNAL DE L’AMEUBLEMENT – Meubles et Décors.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with a patinated finish to the brass. This lamp has been professionally rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists with a 6’ champagne cloth cord and foot switch. Accepts three E12 base light bulbs.
