Goffredo Reggiani rare 1950 floor lamp
About the Item
Rare and magnificent space age lamp built by the Reggiani company in the 1960s.
Goffredo Reggiani's productions showed a style devoted to the intense use of mirror chrome, but also special mechanisms and interesting 1950s references, as in this very early model.
The lamp consists of a movable shade which also adjusts the light intensity, in one of the most primitive ways, which gives a wonderful light effect.
Small flaws are visible in the lampshade, attesting its history and years gone by.
A coachbuilder offered for a restoration with film at a derisory price, but I preferred to leave it the normal used condition.
