Pair of "HALF LUMINATOR" lamps by Roberto Giulio Rida
Large table lamps designed and produced by Roberto Giulio Rida, who wanted to draw inspiration from the past, taking a cue from the "mezza luminator" model.
The lamps can be used either as large table lamps or with half luminators placed on the floor beside a sofa.
The lamps were made by hand using the material such as brass, which was subsequently patinated to protect against weather and dust. The base and lampshade are made of brass, the lampshade cup internally is painted a powder-coated ivory color and is protected by a glass diffuser disk, while the central body is made of vintage glass tiles with diamond patterning, they are fusion glass made by Venini in the 1930s.
The glasses are rare and vintage, the special feature being that they are internally frosted and externally polished. Inside the lamp shaft is an opal glass tube that protect dimming LED light.
The lamps are distinguished by dual lighting, one is about bulb lighting inside the brass cup protected with diffuser disk, while the central column is lit by dimming LED light.
The lamps are signed with RGRIDA logo buttons on the base and are unique and non-repeatable pieces.
The lamps will be supplied with appropriate packaging for protection and fumigated wooden crate for international transportation also with RGRIDA logo.
