About the Item
The Willow floor lamp is a perfect combination of slender elegance and sheer mass. The hand-shaped black walnut base comes from a tree that fell from a neighbor on to the designer's property in Athens, New York. The base rests on four hand-turned 4" diameter hard maple spheres. The neck of the lamp is made of copper with an authentic patina that comes only from being aged in the elements for an extended period of time — in this case three years. The shade of the lamp is 10" diameter and made from slip-cast porcelain.
