About the Item

This elegant Hollywood Regency floor lamp was realized in the United States, circa 1945. Sitting on four stylized scallop shell feet, the body features an abundance of intricate detail including channeling, geometric incised patterns, and beaded embellishments throughout its undulating form, full of sinuous curves. The shade is a billowing bell form with a band of incised elliptical forms near its apex, as well as a wealth of rods emanating from the interior from which orbital crystal tear drop embellishments hang. Full of verve and glamorous sophistication, this floor lamp is as versatile as it is aesthetically pleasing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Art Deco and Hollywood Regency to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. American, circa 1945 Dimensions: 67" height x 9" diameter.
