Italian "Mirror Man" Uplighter in Mirror Glass Post Modern Hollywood Recency
About the Item
Unique 1970s Italian uplighter made of high gloss polished stainless steel that resembles a standing person from the side and a distorting mirror from the front. Most likely made by Fontana Arte but not marked.
The lamp came from an Italian villa decorated with numerous designer pieces from the 1960s and 1970s. Many of those pieces were by Tobia Scarpa and Fontana Arte especially.
