About the Item
Italian Rainbow table lamp and floor lamp in blown Murano glass, 1980, Venice.
This outstanding and unique set is made of one table lamp and one floor lamp. Both pieces were entirely handcrafted in the Venetian island of Murano around the 1980s, following the ancient and refined glassmaking techniques developed in the island throughout many centuries.
For each of the two pieces, a round base sustains the main glass structure, which is made of many multicolored and semicylindrical glass canes that are fixed vertically and form a beautiful rainbow cylinder.
Table lamp dimensions: height 73 cm (28.74 inch), diameter 16 cm (6.3 inch), base diameter 26 cm (10.24inch).
Floor lamp dimensions: height 156 cm (61.42 inch), diameter 16 cm (6.3 inch), base diameter 30 cm (11.81 inch).
