Large Accolay Lamp with Perforated Copper Lampshade
About the Item
magnificent Accolay ceramic lamp, all the originality of the lamp is in the imposing perforated copper lampshade which diffuses a soft light.
The lampshade rests on a base composed of 4 iron rods, one of these rods is slightly twisted which does not prevent the lampshade from being placed correctly, the position of the lampshade must be adjusted.

ACCOLAY
We gather under the term Pottery of Accolay the production of a community of potters settled in the village of Accolay, in the department of Yonne. This production center was created by four former students of Alexandre Kostanda1.
Active from 1945 to 1989, their pottery is distinguished by great technical inventiveness and an extremely abundant production.
