About the Item
Originally used in the historic Ritz Theater this exceptional stage light has been modified for daily use as a floor lamp. This re-creation is the work of artisan-designer, Fackler Benjamin known for his thoughtful intention in the craft of metalworks and industrial designs. "The past is ever with us and transcends our existence. Engulfed in darkness, we are drawn to the light. My story is a stream flowing into an eternal river. I use elements with a deep history. They are my muse. They are my inspiration. I draw from their story. Their story is tied to my story. When I work with these elments first pulled from the earth, then once used in story preceding my story, I look to their light, I look into myself and create anew what was before and after shall be. It is in this space, with these elements, that I find illumination."

Condition Details: This extraordinary hand-made stage lamp is in 100% original condition. The solid steel composition (constructed from a mix of vintage iron and tractor pieces) is in intentionally-distressed condition. The lamp itself adjusts up and down as well as left to right and the light switch and bulb are fully functional. This one of a kind stage lamp is functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use. Please view all photos and for details on this lamp's current condition.
