Maison Jean Perzel, Lampadaire Modèle 44, Version Haute Gamme, circa 1970

About the Item

Exceptional four floor lamps, "model 44" a great classic of the House of Perzel, which can be paired. This version is a high-end version in bronze and silver-plated brass, with four barrels. Its protective cup in bronze and silver-plated brass, on which rests a transparent and hand-sandblasted glass basin, reveals a Greek frieze in a classic style and allows a very high quality light output. The 44 floor lamp, which was probably designed for Yves Saint Laurent, appeared in the editorial of photographer P. Horst - Article published in AD Magazine (August 2019) photographed by P. Horst). Period: XXth - Circa: 1970 Model: 44 Dimensions: Height: 180 cm Glass basin dimensions: 53 cm diameter - Base dimensions: 36 cm diameter Maison Perzel stamp on the foot. France since 1923, the Perzel workshops have perpetuated a lighting design that celebrates modernity and innovation. A living heritage nourished by a thought, a know-how and a passion embracing three generations. Designer before his time, Jean Perzel establishes the principles that will govern his business and establish his reputation. In his workshops, the companions of duty cut, shape and manually assemble all the parts he designs, draws and refines. In an obsessive desire to amplify the intensity and quality of the lighting, the master glassmaker modulates and adapts his materials to a light source that he intends to control as well as possible. The colorful glass then the sandblasted optical glass, the crystal worked with diamonds in its thicknesses play on their transparency, their brilliance and their opacity, contributing to enhance not only the decor in which they are part, but also the people who stand there. Find there. Jean Perzel wants his light to flatter and brighten the complexion. The price indicated is only for the purchase of one piece.
