Mid-Century German Minimalist Tripod Floor Lamp from Hesse Leuchten, 1960s

About the Item

Rare mid-century floor lamp from the German manufacturer Hesse-Leuchten. This floor lamp impresses with its minimalist elegance. The delicate steel frame is painted black and forms a tripod base at the bottom. The inner part of the frame is white. It carries the sockets and forms a holder for the umbrella. The slightly conical shade is made from a type of structured plastic (Lystra). It lies flush on the ring-shaped holder of the frame. The shade material is translucent and has a striking structure. The frame and shade form a wonderful contrast in terms of material and color. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
