Mid-Century Italian Canasta Floor Lamp in the style of Cedric Hartman, 1960s

About the Item

Elegant mid century standing lamp from the Italian manufacturer Obor. The design impresses with the fine execution of the details and the principle of cantilever and counterweight. It is strongly based on Cedric Hartmann's standing lights. In details, such as the reflector head, even almost identical. The lamp has two poles that are connected to a double angled arm. The light head sits at the top. Opposite an elegant counterweight in the form of a massive block. The light screen can be rotated, the upper arm swiveled to control the direction of the light. The reflector is provided with a polished disc inside. The switch on the light head was replaced by a foot switch. This piece has an attribution mark, European Plug (up to 250V). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
