Mid-Century Japanese-Inspired Two Light Floor Lamp in the Style of Stilnovo
About the Item
With its thin, delicately curved stems and original cone-form paper shades printed in abstract geometric motifs, this fabulous and rare floor lamp is a fascinating example of Japanese-inspired Mid-Century design. Likely produced in Germany or Czechoslovakia, this piece features a two-tone base in black enameled and polished brass. The delicate arms extend upward from the circular base and cross in an elegant "X" before terminating in the aforementioned cone shades, with long decorative pull cords that add a little extra jewelry to the minimalist look.
NOTE: Dimensions provided refer to the whole assembled lamp with shades. The base alone measures 10" in diameter.
