About the Item
An iconic floor lamp model k10-10 designed by Paavo Tynell for Idman in the 1950s. The lamp has been repainted in yellow, as an alternative for the black and white versions that are the most frequent colours. The item is otherwise in complete original condition with functioning electricity, and is stamped Idman.
As with many of Tynell´s other lamps, this one has been nicknamed the `Nun´s Hat` due to it´s resemblance to one. In our experience, this model is the most wanted from all the floor lamp models regardless of the colour.
In case you are looking for more than one, we do have a few more in storage, in different colours including blue, white red and white.

- Condition:Rewired: The yellow colour is of a later date, however the tone/shade is the same used in the 1950s. The wiring is renewed. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. The overall condition is very good.
