Pair of Large Gilt Bronze and Marble Candelabra

About the Item

These exceptional, large pair of red marble and gilt bronze candelabra is opulently decorated finely-cast neoclassical style decorations. Each candelabrum is formed as a red marble vase on a gilt bronze base, with twelve gilt bronze lights above. The red marble vase is mounted with intricate scrolling gilt bronze decorations, including masks, lions' heads, acanthus leaves and flowers; while the candelabra lights are decorated with fluting, flowers and foliage and the base is decorated with acanthus leaves, laurel garlands, ribbons and drapery. The fineness of detail makes these candelabra a truly wonderful pair. Each one measures 122 centimeters (48 inches) in height and will therefore make a bold statement in an interior.
