About the Item
Very particular floor lamp by the designer Pia Crippa Guidetti, rigor and style imbue this 70s floor lamp.
The lamp is composed of a large central stem in chromed steel that starts from a large plate as a base. Above to accommodate the large white glass sphere, there is a goblet also in chromed steel. In the center of the stem there is the switch to turn the lamp on and off. Inside the sphere, easily removable, there are three light connections.
About the designer: Pia Crippa graduated in scenography at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in 1967 comes into contact with that design challenge that will go under the name of “design”. She was the era of the great masters: Munari's healthy irreverence, Joe Colombo's courage, Zanusso's equilibrium, Mari's rigor, have marked anyone entering the world of design. In this way you begin a thirty-year collaboration with the company "Lumi" which combines a skilled craftsmanship with the desire for innovation. A patient research of the quality of the materials "brass, iron, aluminum" the exceptional finishes lead to the creation of luminous objects with an essential appearance that define a presence as important in the furniture as their function.
