Swedish Mid-Century Modern Floor Lamp by Hans-Agne Jakobsson
About the Item
Vintage floor lamp, model G45, designed and manufactured by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in Sweden during the 1950s. The lamp features a stained beech stem and a brass tripod base, it comes with its original lamp shade that has been reupholstered with an off-white chintz fabric.
Despite being in good vintage condition, the lamp has some patina and signs of wear which add to its unique character and history.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
