About the Item
Floor lamp mod. "trifoglio" designed by Sergio Asti for Bilumen in Italy, 1970. It is a compact floor lamp thanks to its majestic and usual structure in white lacquered metal. The base has a characteristic clover shape and three tubes branch off from the base that support the white plexiglass diffuser at the top, which also has the shape of a clover made up of three bowls, where inside are placed the attachments for three lamps.
Sergio Asti was an Italian designer born on November 24, 1926, in Milan, Italy. He was known for his work in various design fields, including industrial design, furniture design, and graphic design. Asti has collaborated with several prominent Italian design companies and has created iconic pieces throughout his career.
His designs often reflect a modern and functional aesthetic, and he has contributed significantly to the mid-20th-century Italian design movement. Asti's work includes furniture pieces, lighting fixtures, and other design objects.
