Vintage George Kovacs Stacked Chrome Ball Floor Lamp, 1970’s

About the Item

Classic vintage Mid-Century Modern floor lamp by the German designer, George Kovacs (1926-2007) for the German lighting company Sonneman. consisting of 11 chrome balls stacked one upon the other on a chrome base. 1970’s The chrome is in near excellent condition while the black cloth lampshade is new. It uses a standard lightbulb. DIMENSIONS: Height to top of light shade: 63.5 in. (161.3 cm.) Height from base to top of chrome: 49 in. (124.4 cm.) Diameter of chrome ball: 5.75 in. (14.6 cm.) Diameter of chrome base: 12.25 in. (31.1 cm.).
