About the Item
Mid-Century Modern floor lamp - Glass floor lamp - Murano style light
A nice and decorative floor lamp from the Spinzi Milano curated selection. In spotted glass, with three cylindrical bodies connected by chromed metal rings. Made in Italy in the 1960s, it is designed and executed in the style of Carlo Nason for Mazzega, though it is unsigned and has no identification marks.
It is in working conditions, with original wiring, switch and Italian plug. The switch operates two sections of the lamp separately: the pictures show how it can be lit in the top section, in the bottom two, or completely.
The fixture is preserved in good original conditions. There are no cracks in the glass shades, but the chrome coating of the base shows some signs of oxidisation/rust.
